Carnival Comes to Life at St. Martin’s with Pre-K & Kindergarten Parade

February 10th, 2026

The spirit of Carnival was alive and well on campus as St. Martin’s Pre-K and Kindergarten students took center stage in the beloved annual parade, bringing color, music, and pure joy to the Lower School courtyard.

Our youngest Saints proudly rolled along the route, waving and tossing throws with big smiles, supported along the way by fourth graders. Adding to the Mardi Gras flair, the Middle School Drumline filled the courtyard with the unmistakable rhythms of Carnival, turning the parade into a full celebration.

The parade route was lined with cheering Lower School classmates, parents, and family members, but the celebration didn’t stop there. Middle and Upper School students paused their morning flex break to join in, catching throws and reconnecting with their younger Saints friends. It was a joyful reminder of what makes St. Martin’s unique: a close-knit, inclusive community where students know and support one another across every grade level.

Moments like these—where tradition, mentorship, and shared joy come together—are at the heart of the St. Martin’s experience. From our youngest learners to our oldest students, Carnival at St. Martin’s is more than a celebration; it’s a reflection of a community rooted in connection, tradition, and joy.
