The St. Martin's experience is a journey that goes far beyond academics.

At St. Martin's, balance is part of our intentional strategy focused on the whole child. Faculty work with students to balance high expectations with thoughtful pacing, strong relationships, and attention to the whole child. Our rigorous college prepatory curriculum is supported by advisory, counseling, leadership opportunities, and extracurricular opportunities. Our students explore their creativity, step out of their comfort zones, and try new things.

More than 75 percent of St. Martin’s Middle and Upper School students compete in interscholastic athletics, with more than 20 LHSAA-sanctioned teams striving to win championships. Nearly half of those athletes participate in another sport, the arts, or other extracurricular activities and clubs. At St. Martin’s, students truly can do it all and pursue a variety of interests without fear of burnout.

Our challenging learning environment, coupled with talented, nurturing faculty, staff, mentors, and coaches, ensures our Saints are supported as they strive to reach their full potential.

“Overall, I think I most benefited from the values that I learned on this campus. I became an independent thinker and was taught to be practical. I gained a real understanding of the importance of giving back to your community, and the importance of remembering your faith, and doing what’s right.”

— Allison DeViney ’92 (P ’23, P ’27)
