More Than a Game. It’s a Place to Grow.
At St. Martin’s, athletics are an essential part of a well-rounded education—and every student is invited to be part of the team. Our no-cut policy creates space for everyone—from first-time players to future collegiate athletes.
We believe that sports build confidence, character, and connection. Whether a student is trying something new in Middle School or competing at the varsity level in Upper School, they have the chance to grow as athletes and as people. Every student has a place on the field, in the pool, on the court, at the track, and in our community.
At St. Martin's, athletics aren’t just about the scoreboard. They’re about helping students discover who they are—and who they want to become.
Opportunities for Every Athlete
With more than 40 teams across 14 sports, Saints have opportunities to explore their passions, take on new challenges, and commit to personal growth. Students compete with pride in facilities that match their commitment: a state-of-the-art fitness center, all-weather outdoor track, indoor gymnasium, and regulation fields.
We celebrate students who go on to play in college—but just as importantly, we celebrate the student who tried out for something new, the athlete who showed up early and stayed late, and the Saint who led with heart.
Character, Commitment, and Community
Our coaches are educators first. They teach strategy, sportsmanship, and discipline—but they also invest in every player’s personal growth. Because when every student is given a chance to compete, they also get a chance to lead, to collaborate, to persevere, and to find joy in the process.
We take pride in the way our Saints play—with grit and grace. On and off the field, they live out the values of a St. Martin’s education: integrity, compassion, and service to something greater than themselves.
From Saints to Scholars to Standouts
Whether it’s Friday night football, a quiet victory on the cross-country trail, or a buzzer-beater in the gym, Saints bring their full selves to the game. Athletics don’t compete with academics or the arts—they complement them. Our students are musicians and mathematicians, captains and coders, volunteers and valedictorians.
Because we’re not just preparing students for the next game. We’re preparing them for life.
