Saints Compete at LHSAA Class 1A Track and Field State Championships; Senior Jacob Odom Secures Second Place

The athletic season reached a high point on May 7 as five student-athletes competed at the 2026 LHSAA Class 1A Track and Field State Championships. Held at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium on the campus of LSU, the event featured top competitors from across the state.
The participants represented the school with pride, showcasing the results of the hard work and dedication they maintained throughout the entire season. The following student-athletes earned top finishes in their respective events:
- Jacob Odom ’26 secured 2nd place in the Boys 400-meter dash.
- Noah Dunn ’26 finished in 5th place in the Boys Javelin.
- Kaliyah Larche ’26 earned 6th place in the Girls Discus.
- Garri Lawson ’26 placed 7th in the Girls Shot Put.
- Donny Lawrence ’26 also placed 7th in the Boys Javelin.
Congratulations to these athletes on their impressive performances at the state level.
