George Cottage Students Explore Robotics in STeaM Class
May 7th, 2026
The George Cottage Threes recently engaged in a hands-on learning adventure as they explored the fundamentals of programming car robots. Led by Ms. Natalie Ott in STeaM class, the session offered students an early introduction to technology and problem-solving.
This interactive experience serves as a clear example of how intentional lesson design can spark a love of thinking and learning from a young age. By navigating new concepts through play and trial and error, students began to develop the skills necessary to see challenges as opportunities for discovery.
Early childhood STeaM education at St. Martin's focuses on these tactile experiences to build a foundation for future academic growth. The exploration of robotics in the George Cottage highlights the commitment to providing students with creative and engaging ways to master new ideas.
