St. Martin’s Episcopal School is proud to announce that its Varsity Baseball team has once again been recognized with the Team Academic Excellence Award by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). This national honor celebrates high school baseball programs whose student-athletes achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the academic year.

For the 2024–25 school year, St. Martin’s Varsity Baseball team was one of just 350 high school programs nationwide to earn this distinction — a testament to the team’s dedication both on the field and in the classroom.

The team was recognized during Middle and Upper School Eucharist chapel on January 20, 2026, where students and faculty celebrated the players’ commitment to academic achievement, discipline, and balance. The award reflects St. Martin’s belief that excellence in athletics goes hand in hand with excellence in scholarship, character, and personal responsibility.

St. Martin’s Episcopal School continues to foster an environment where students are challenged to grow as scholars, athletes, and leaders.
