St. Martin’s Girls’ Cross Country Team Wins State Championship in Dominant Finish

St. Martin’s Episcopal School is proud to announce that our girls’ cross country team has earned the 2025 LHSAA State Championship title, securing a decisive victory over Highland Baptist with an 18-point lead. This monumental win is a testament to the dedication, grit, and teamwork of the entire squad—and marks an exciting milestone in Saints athletics.

Leading the charge was Olive Diaz ’30, who crossed the finish line first for St. Martin’s, achieving a lifetime personal best. She placed 6th overall, followed closely by teammates Juliet Whitaker ’26 in 7th place and Nia Norton ’26 in 9th place—all three finishing in the top 10. Congratulations to the entire team: Devyn McManus ’27, Olive Diaz ’30, Juliet Whitaker ’26, Nia Norton ’26, Madison Westacott ’26, and Elba Molina ’27.

The victory reflects the dedication of the athletes and the leadership of Coach Warren Lind, who has cultivated a culture of perseverance and excellence.
