St. Martin’s Alumna Lauren Crowell ’23 Shares Global Learning Journey with Students

St. Martin’s Episcopal School was pleased to welcome alumna Lauren Crowell ’23 back to campus as she met with members of the Global Citizenship Club. A current Altman Scholar at Tulane University, Lauren shared reflections from her evolving academic journey and the global opportunities shaping her college experience.

Lauren, who joined St. Martin’s after beginning her education at St. Paul’s Episcopal School, recently completed a fall semester studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is now preparing for a spring semester in Madrid, Spain, continuing to build a truly international course of study through Tulane’s Altman Program in International Studies and Business.

Her visit offered current Global Citizenship Diploma candidates a meaningful look at how global learning can extend beyond high school and into college and beyond. Through her experiences at home and abroad, Lauren illustrated the many paths available to students who embrace curiosity, cultural understanding, and a global perspective.
