Girls 5/6 Basketball Team Claims Third Straight NOAL Championship

January 30th, 2026

St. Martin's girls' 5th/6th grade basketball team continued its tradition of excellence with a third consecutive New Orleans Athletic League championship, earning a hard-fought 17–14 victory over a talented Kehoe-France squad.

The championship matchup showcased disciplined defense, teamwork, and poise under pressure—hallmarks of St. Martin’s athletic program. In a closely contested game from start to finish, the Saints maintained focus and composure, executing key plays down the stretch to secure the title.

This three-peat reflects more than a single season’s success. It highlights a program built on consistency, skill development, and character, where student-athletes learn the values of perseverance, sportsmanship, and teamwork alongside competitive fundamentals.

Athletics at St. Martin’s are an extension of the school’s mission to develop the whole child. From elementary through upper school, students are encouraged to grow as teammates and leaders, learning lessons that extend well beyond the scoreboard.

Congratulations to the girls 5/6 basketball team on another outstanding season and a championship run to remember.
