Class of 2029 Officially Welcomed at Upper School Matriculation Ceremony
August 19th, 2025
The Upper School held its annual Matriculation Ceremony, formally welcoming and celebrating the Class of 2029 as official members of our high school community.
Matriculation is a time-honored tradition at St. Martin’s, symbolizing the beginning of a student’s Upper School journey. Each freshman is invited to the front of the chapel to sign the roll book, marking their official entrance into the Upper School student body. This signature represents not only joining a new division of the school but also embracing the responsibilities, opportunities, and traditions that come with becoming a high school student.
The ceremony serves as a milestone moment—both a rite of passage and a reminder that every member of the Upper School is connected through a shared commitment to growth, scholarship, and service. For the Class of 2029, matriculation marks the first step in a four-year journey filled with learning, leadership, and lasting memories.
