On Friday morning, the St. Martin’s community gathered in the Dan and Frances White Chapel for one of the sweetest traditions of the fall semester — the presentation of the Lower School Super Saints.

Each year, as part of Lower School Pack the Stadium Night, teachers select one student from each class who truly embodies the qualities of a Saint: responsibility, kindness, honesty, and respect. Being named a Super Saint means doing the right thing even when no one is watching, showing integrity, and spreading kindness through small but meaningful gestures — a helping hand, a smile, a high-five, or one of those legendary Lower School hugs that brighten everyone’s day.

Honoring Everyday Kindness

This year’s honorees represent the best of what it means to live the St. Martin’s mission. Teachers described them as helpful, thoughtful, compassionate, determined, respectful, and joyful. They are the classmates who encourage others, the students who volunteer without being asked, and the friends who make sure no one feels left out.

Joining the celebration were the school’s senior football players and cheerleaders, who presented each Lower School honoree with a Saints football jersey to wear proudly at that evening’s game. These seniors — role models and heroes to many of the younger students — arrived early that morning, before their own senior breakfast, to be part of the special moment. Their presence served as a beautiful reminder of the connection that runs throughout the St. Martin’s community: from Lower School to the leaders of the Class of 2026.
