Two St. Martin’s Episcopal School football standouts are once again earning recognition for their performance on the field. Gabe Savarese and Donny Lawrence were named First Team All-Metro selections for the 2025 season, honoring their impact among the top small-school players in the New Orleans metro area.

Savarese earned First Team All-Metro honors as a linebacker, recognized for his consistent defensive presence, football IQ, and ability to anchor the Saints’ defense. Throughout the season, he played a key role in limiting opponents and setting the tone defensively.

Lawrence was named First Team All-Metro as a punter, a reflection of his reliability and effectiveness on special teams. His ability to control field position and perform in high-pressure situations made him a valuable asset to the Saints throughout the season.

This latest recognition adds to a growing list of postseason honors for both players and underscores the strength of the Saints football program and its commitment to developing disciplined, high-performing student-athletes.
