Salvete, omnes! Please join us in congratulating the following Middle School Latin scholars on their outstanding performance on the 2026 National Latin Exam.

Each of these students earned recognition for scoring above the national average on this year’s exam. This year, we even had a perfect score in our midst, and several other students finished just one or two points shy of attaining a perfect score.

Seventh Grade

Lillian Markey earned a perfect score, receiving Summa Cum Laude honors and a Gold Medal. Lucy Breaux, Adan Chan, Ava Chan, Paul Hogan, and Claire Min also received Summa Cum Laude honors and Gold Medals. Hudson Flowers and David Truesdale earned Maxima Cum Laude honors and Silver Medals. Mila Ridley received Magna Cum Laude honors and Gianna Guirguis earned Cum Laude honors.

Eighth Grade

Vivienne Comer and Nils Valencia earned Maxima Cum Laude honors and Silver Medals. Olive Diaz and Preston Swanford received Magna Cum Laude honors. Omar Hijazi earned Cum Laude honors.
