May 5th, 2026
The community gathered in the Dan and Frances White Chapel on May 5 for the Passing of the Light ceremony, a significant tradition marking a moment of transition for the student body. This event serves as the official passing of the torch of leadership from the senior class to the junior Class of 2027.
The ceremony symbolizes the continuity of leadership and the shared values of the school. During the event, the seniors were recognized for the light they have shared and the impact they have made on the community during their time on campus.
As the seniors prepare for their next steps, the Class of 2027 assumes their new role as the student leaders of the community. This tradition highlights the expectation for the junior class to lead with purpose and grace throughout the coming year.
The transition from the senior class to the Class of 2027 ensures that the spirit of leadership remains a central part of the campus experience.
