April 5th, 2024
Congratulations to St. Martin’s Model United Nations team on its recent competition in the Washington Area Model United Nations Conference (WAMUNC), hosted by George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. The conference is a four day exercise in diplomacy, international affairs, and global knowledge. St. Martin’s team competed against approximately 1,000 high school students from across the United States. After several months of practice and research, the team of seniors Cole Angerer and BoFan Hua, junior Jeremy Hua, and sophomore Lily Congemi was supported by co-advisors Mary Quinet and André LeBeau and Matthew Munhall. BoFan Hua received an award for his outstanding work on the ASEAN Committee which was tasked with “Resolving the South China Sea Dispute.” Congratulations, team!
