Lower School Celebrates The Blessing of the (Stuffed) Animals
October 8th, 2025
Lower School students participated in a heartwarming tradition: The Blessing of the (Stuffed) Animals! The Feast of St. Francis, celebrated each year in early October, honors the patron saint of animals and creation. St. Francis of Assisi’s love and compassion for all living creatures, both great and small, serve as a beautiful inspiration for us to cherish and protect the natural world around us. In keeping with his spirit, Lower School students brought their most cherished stuffed animals to chapel to receive a special blessing.
