Fourth Grade Living Museum Details Famous Figures Throughout History
May 11th, 2026
This morning, our Fourth Graders wrapped up their Living Museum project, bringing history to life!
Each student researched a famous figure, wrote an informational essay, and then stepped into character to deliver a first-person speech to Lower School students, faculty, family, and friends. From artists and adventurers to queens and presidents to athletes and conservationists, and more… Can you guess who some of these life-like “statues” were portraying?
This project is just one of the many ways our students sharpen their writing skills throughout the year. They’re learning to craft complex sentences, build descriptive paragraphs, create visual representations of their research, and develop clear, compelling essays—skills that serve as a foundation for their success in Middle School and beyond.
