First Graders Present Jour de France
February 15th, 2025
C’est magnifique! Our first graders wrapped up their France unit with Jour de France, a lively program in the Solomon Theater. From learning French phrases to discovering famous French artists to researching iconic landmarks and creating books and themed t-shirts, they’ve explored it all.
Last week, they showcased their learning through French songs, dance, and games, followed by a showcase of their artwork. This year’s performance was dedicated to the memory of Susan Pansano ’66, a beloved St. Martin’s educator who helped establish this French unit decades ago.
