February 28th, 2024
Third graders were excited to welcome author Hope Stark to their class. Stark is the author of "The Mystery of the Hidden Treasure," "The Mystery by the River," and "The Mystery in the Marsh." (In addition, she is also the sister of fourth grade teacher Ms. Susan Pendleton. Stark read her book to the class and even gifted a book for each child.
Throughout our school’s history, students and teachers have been inspired by generations of award-winning authors and illustrators who have visited St. Martin’s. The Lower School Library even has a display of Famous Authors and Illustrators who have personally ignited creativity in our younger students. This month alone, St. Martin's has hosted four dynamic authors for a variety of grade levels.
