Servant Leadership Discussion Inspires 8th and 12th Graders

September 19th, 2025

What does it mean to lead with compassion? This week, 8th graders and seniors gathered for a servant leadership discussion that connected directly to the legacy of St. Martin of Tours. Fr. Millican shared the history of servant leadership, while seniors Sophie Miller, Garri Lawson, and Will Adriance offered their own experiences of serving others. In mixed-grade groups, students reflected on how true leadership isn’t about power or recognition—it’s about humility, compassion, and lifting others up. As leaders of their divisions, our 8th and 12th graders are learning in deeply personal ways that service builds stronger communities and prepares them to carry St. Martin’s legacy forward.
