St. Martin’s Senior Named National Merit Semifinalist

St. Martin’s Episcopal School is proud to celebrate senior Alex Scheuermann, who has been recognized as a Semifinalist in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program—placing him among the top 1% of high school seniors nationwide.
More than 1.3 million juniors from 20,000 high schools entered the program by taking the 2024 PSAT/NMSQT. Only 16,000 students advanced to Semifinalist status, a distinction that highlights exceptional academic talent and college readiness.
As a Semifinalist, Alex will continue in the competition for some 6,930 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered next spring.
We are proud of Alex’s achievement, which reflects both his dedication and the strong academic foundation provided by St. Martin’s. Congratulations, Alex!
