St. Martin’s Partners with Ochsner Performance Training to Launch New Summer Program for Student-Athletes
May 22nd, 2025
This summer, St. Martin’s Episcopal School is expanding its commitment to athletic excellence with a new opportunity for student-athletes in grades 7–12.
While varsity-led workouts will continue, we’re proud to introduce an additional program designed to give more students access to high-quality summer training right here on campus. In partnership with Ochsner Performance Training (OPT), St. Martin’s will offer structured, expert-led workouts focused on strength, coordination, and the discipline it takes to grow as a competitor and a leader.
Details:
🗓 Dates: Tuesday, June 3 – Thursday, July 24
🕚 Time: Tuesdays–Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
📍 Location: StM Gym + Outdoor Training Areas (weather permitting)
💵 Cost: Free for enrolled students
Holiday Breaks:
Thursday, June 19 – Juneteenth
Tuesday, July 1 – Thursday, July 3 – July 4th Holiday
Tuesday, July 22 – Wednesday, July 23 – LHSAA Dead Period
Eligibility & Expectations:
To participate, students must:
Be enrolled at St. Martin’s for the upcoming school year (grades 7–12)
Have a current physical on file
Arrive on time, appropriately dressed (StM gear, school colors, or neutral tones)
Be hydrated and fueled before arriving
This is not a summer camp. It’s an intentional investment in student-athletes who want to train with purpose. With guidance from OPT professionals and support from the StM Athletics team, participants will build more than just strength—they’ll build resilience, discipline, and the character needed to lead with integrity.
To register, email incoming Athletic Director Kevin Dizer at kevin.dizer@stmsaints.com.
