A Message from the President of the Alumni Board

Our mission at the Alumni Association is not only to act as the main liaison between St. Martin’s alumni and the school but to take that a step further and do everything in our power to preserve the life-long relationship we all as alumni share with St. Martin’s.

Specific goals of the Association this year include accounting for the whereabouts of every alumnus, continuing to increase alumni awareness of the present happenings at St. Martin’s and recognizing those special alumni for their contributions both to industry and to the community. We of course will continue to focus on annual giving, alumni related events and our scholarship fund programs which have proven to make a difference to those capable students who might otherwise not have had the opportunity to be part of the St. Martin’s community.

Most importantly, know that the Alumni Board is here to serve you. As such, we encourage you to contact any of us on the board or your respective class agents and let us know what we can do to help rekindle your interest in St. Martin’s.

Twice a year, in the fall and spring, we publish interesting news about our alumni in "The Bell." As you know, St. Martin's Alumni love to read about fellow alumni. Whether you graduated in 1951 or 2008, please contact the Alumni Office or your Class Agent today with your Scattered Saints news. We are adding two new sections in the Bell that will feature alumni writings. If you are a writer by profession or hobby please email your fiction, nonfiction, or human interest pieces to Julie.talbot@stmsaints.com. This will be a regular feature of The Bell and we welcome submissions! Another feature of the The Bell will be alumni reflections of special memories from their experiences as a Saint. The alumni office is soliciting both pictures and commentary for this column.
