Performing Arts Director Meredith Long-Dieth Featured on New Orleans Voices
Performing Arts Director Meredith Long-Dieth recently sat down with Craig Kraemer, host of the New Orleans Voices podcast, to discuss the benefits of children participating in theatre. With summer fast approaching, families are beginning to explore summer camp options. Long-Dieth spoke about how St. Martin’s Theatre Camp introduces children to all aspects of the theatre, from performing on stage to learning about the critical behind-the-scenes work.

“Any child can benefit from Theatre Camp,” said Long-Dieth. “From improving public speaking to learning skills like problem-solving and collaboration, participating in theatre can help children build skills they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives.”

St. Martin’s Theatre Camp is open to students in rising second through tenth grades, and will run from June 5 - 23, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Camp attendees will take the stage with two magical performances of "The Wizard of Oz" on June 23. Visit the Summer Camps page for more details.
