Theatre Camp at StM
At Theatre Camp our campers have been able to unlock their creativity, artistry, and imagination through performing arts. Campers are learning about the acting process while building self confidence and problem solving skills. In addition to putting on this full scale production, campers are participating in theatre games, music, dance, and acting, taught by some of the greater New Orleans area’s finest performing arts teachers.
Meredith Long-Dieth and Emily Ross are the co-directors of St. Martin’s Theater Camp. Both also serve in St. Martin’s Episcopal School’s Performing Arts Department.
Meredith Long-Dieth is a graduate of the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. She lived in New York City until 2004 and has performed off Broadway, in national tours, on cruise ships, and in various regional theatres around the country. Her past credits include Ruthless, where she won the Big Easy Award for Best Actress, The World Goes Round and Tunes at Le Petit Theatre, “Miss Mona” at the Biloxi Grand, and “Ms. Pennywise” in Urinetown at Rivertown Repertory Theatre. She was in the Prince Street Players’ national tour of Cinderella and Merry Go Round Summer Stock in the Finger Lakes. She also worked for The Disney Cruise Line and other regional and touring companies. Long-Dieth continues to perform, direct, and study throughout the greater New Orleans area. She serves as St. Martin’s Performing Arts Director.
