Congratulations to Kylar Coleman on reaching 1000 points in her career

Last week, St. Martin senior Kylar Coleman broke her personal record by scoring 1000 points in her basketball career. She has set a new bar for StM athletes on the court. Kylar had 988 points going into last Friday night's matchup vs. Riverside Academy. She finished the night by leading all scorers with 18 points and completing 10 rebounds. The excitement in the Adkerson Gymnasium was at an all-time high when game play was halted to honor Kylar for scoring her 1000th point! Surrounded by teammates, family, and friends, Kylar beamed with pride and happiness.

Kylar is a strong student athlete who has competed in multiple sports throughout her high school career, including volleyball, basketball, and track. She is academically driven and focused as she heads into her final semester of her senior year and makes decisions on which college to attend. Kylar stated, “Throughout my time at StM, I have grown as a person, a student, and an athlete because St. Martin’s has allowed me to find my passions in the classroom and on the court.”

This is only the beginning for Kylar Coleman. We can’t wait to see what else she will accomplish after her time here at St. Martin’s.
