A Nice Ring to It: Juniors Celebrate Ring Day

The ring was the thing for St. Martin’s Class of 2022, who took part in the school's annual Ring Day Ceremony on Thursday, March 18. This longstanding tradition provides juniors the opportunity to celebrate the culmination of their time at St. Martin’s.
Junior Class Advisor Allison Thomas says the Ring Day Ceremony marks an important milestone.

"The rings the class members now wear serve as signs of their educational and personal accomplishments during high school,” said Thomas. “They are symbols of their identity and unity as a class, and the new opportunities and responsibilities they face as they prepare for their senior year and college.”

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the celebration took place in the Solomon Theater, where members of the junior class, accompanied by their parents, received their class rings and heard from speaker Robert Quintal, a graduate of the Class of 2006.
