Football Improves to 2-0 with Win Over Thomas Jefferson
The football team improved their record to 2-0 with a 27-7 win over Thomas Jefferson at Hoss Memstas Stadium Thursday, October 8. 
Running Backs Jonathan Castaneda, Monte Lewis, Gavin Sperandeo, and Kaheam Smith combined to rush 212 yards. Smith had a 40 yard touchdown run, while Castaneda and Sperandeo each punched in one yard touchdown runs. Quarterback Matt Mannino threw a 12 yard touchdown pass to Grant Gendusa.
Solid Defense was led by Jonathan Castaneda with four solo tackles, four assists, and a fumble recovery. Stefen Brower had a solo tackle, seven assists, and an interception. Gavin Sperandeo had four solo tackles and two assists. The Shank brothers, Skyler and Shawn, combined for four solo tackles, six assists, one tackle behind the line, and a quarterback sack.
Chris Catinis rounded out the score, kicking three points after touchdowns.
