StM To Hosts Presentation on Managing Electronics and Social Media
Join us Nov.20 in the Dan and Frances White Chapel as we welcome Jessica Hof M.D. The free event is open to parents of Cottage through 12th grade students. The presentation will begin at 8:00 a.m. and be followed by a Q & A session at 8:45.

Dr. Hof will discuss to manage our children's social media to avoid the potential of depression, anxiety, and other effects on the brain.

This event is hosted by St. Martin’s Student Support Services Department. Contact Department Chair Eileen Smilari with any questions. She can be reached by email at eileen.smilari@stmsaints.com. This is the second presentation the department has hosted this semester. In October Jeanne Develle, M.S., Speech Language Pathologist, spoke with parents about Executive Function Skills for Lower and Middle School Students. Topics addressed included: the nine executive functions, the frontal lobe, what executive function weakness looks like, how to approach homework time, tools for studying and homework, and much more.

St. Martin's understands that its students have important academic, personal, and community needs. To meet those needs and help ensure that its students thrive, the school offers services and resources outside the classroom. Student support services include: Counseling, Health Services, Learning Specialists, Advisory Program, and College Guidance
