Saints Celebrate Start of School Year with Back to School Bash
The threat of rain did nothing to dampen the spirits of hundreds of St. Martin’s students, parents, alumni, and friends who turned out for the annual Back to School BBQ Bash on Sunday, August 18. The BBQ Bash, hosted by the Saint’s Community Organization (SCO), is in its sixth year. Guests filled Saints Hall to celebrate the new school year and nosh on hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, cupcakes, and ice-cold popsicles and beverages.

Outside Saints Hall, the grounds were buzzing with activity as children bounced from one inflatable to another. Inside, soaking up the cool air, parents learned more about volunteer opportunities throughout the school year. Open House yard signs were also distributed to the StM community. The StM Spirit Shop hosted a pop-up shop with plenty of StM gear for purchase. In the Little Gym, Commissioner Lind hosted the always-popular Middle School Dodgeball Tournament.

Parents were able to pick up their copies of the 2019-20 directory. Directories will also be available to pick-up at the upcoming Parents' Nights.

The mission of the SCO is to provide a forum that facilitates open communication, collaboration, and fellowship between families, administration, and educators of St. Martin’s Episcopal School. All St. Martin’s families are automatically members of the SCO. You are welcomed and encouraged to attend meetings, volunteer your time and talents, and join in the activities sponsored by the SCO, which offers numerous ways for you to get involved. Sign up to volunteer with the SCO.
