The Upper School Science Olympiad Team and Middle School Science Olympiad Team traveled to Nicholls State University on Saturday, March 23 to participate in the Louisiana Science Olympiad Region 1 competition.
Upper School Results
The 13-member team entered 21 events and earned medals in 14 events. St. Martin's was overall team champion for the third consecutive year! (Read more about last year’s win here.) St. Martin's defeated metro New Orleans teams Isidore Newman, Haynes Academy, Mount Carmel Academy, Ben Franklin, Ponchatoula High, and others. Middle School Results
The team entered 18 of the 21 offered events, and earned medals in 10 events! The small but valiant group scored enough points to earn 5th place and qualify for the state championship on Saturday, April 13.
