More than Two Dozen Saints Qualify for State Rally

More than Two Dozen Saints Qualify for State Rally
Numerous Middle and Upper School students earned high marks in the 2019 District Rally, hosted by the Louisiana High School Rally Association, on Feb. 23.

Twenty-six St. Martin’s students competed with students from across the metro area, all taking the same tests in various subjects. All 26 Saints qualified for the State Rally, which will be held April 6. Student names are listed below (in order of subject). Many placed in the top three of their subject area. Junior Bharat Solanky earned a perfect score.

Rally participants who achieve the highest scores in their events are ranked first through fifth place. Ranked students will receive certificates. Students ranked in the top three will also receive medals. Not all ranked students move on to State; the number of State qualifiers depends on the number of schools in each division. Students from all districts statewide will advance to the State Rally, where the process is repeated.
