April 3, Week 3 Update

Dear Lower School Parents:

We are at the end of the second full week of working remotely and running our Continuity of Learning Plan (CLP). As you are aware by now, this has been an especially difficult week for the Sorrells family. It is times like these when we come together as a community to support each other and help one another through all of life’s challenges. While we have been physically apart, we have grown closer, and I have never been more proud to be part of St. Martin’s Episcopal School.

Here are a few updates:
  • Please remember that next Thursday, April 9, is another PD day for our faculty. Students will not have any assignments given that day and there will be no expectation of work being accomplished. In addition, faculty members will not be available for consultation. I am always available to assist with whatever you might need.
  • Our Easter break begins Friday, April 10. We will resume classes on Monday, April 20.
  • I have included a list of tips from our technology department to help address technological concerns you might have during this time of online learning. This is already published on StM’s COVID-19 page (stmsaints.com/covid19).

We hope that you and your family are staying safe and healthy, and we appreciate your continued support during this time. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I am including my message from this morning. I hope you like it. It can also be found on the new Lower School website. https://www.stmlowerschoolnews.com
Have a great weekend!
Together We Are Saints,
