April 3, Week 3 Update
Dear Upper School Parents,
We are at the end of the second full week of our temporary campus closure, and we feel that our teachers and students have established a routine in our online learning program. However, as you are aware by now, this has been an especially difficult week for some members of our community. It is times like these when we come together as a community of friends and family who support each other and help one another through all life’s challenges and hardships. It is because we are such a strong, close-knit community that our victories are made greater and our sorrows more bearable. Throughout this difficult time, we have grown closer, and we have never been more proud to be part of St. Martin’s Episcopal School.
Here are a few updates:
Please remember that next Thursday, April 9, is another PD day for our faculty. Students will not have any classes meet or any new assignments given. In addition, faculty members will not have their regularly scheduled office hours.
Our Easter break begins Friday, April 10. We will resume classes on Monday, April 20.
Attached to this email is a list of tips from our technology department to help address some technological concerns you might have during this time of online learning. This is already published on StM’s COVID-19 page (stmsaints.com/covid19), but we wanted to include it just in case you have not yet seen it.
We hope that you and your family are staying safe and healthy, and we appreciate your continued support during this time. Thank you again for the privilege of educating your children, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Together we are Saints,
Head of Upper School
Associate Head--Student Affairs
