St. Martin's Episcopal School's 4th & 5th Graders participated in an online math contest, The Sumdog Math Contest. The students have been playing against other schools in the Greater New Orleans area and Florida Parishes. St. Martin's placed 3rd overall. Jack Corsetti (4th Grade) had the fifth highest score in all of the schools, with 7226 points! December 2011 On October 15, 2011, the St. Martin's Lower School Chess Team placed fourth in the team competition at the Cajun Oktoberfest Scholastic Chess Tournament. The tournament was held at the Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies. Second graders, Mason Ng and Camryn Lafleur, represented St. Martin's. The team is led by Mr. Greg Agamy. The Chess Team meets on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.
