Financial Aid :

Today's parents recognize the importance of a strong elementary and secondary education to prepare their children for success in college and in life. Many turn to the small classes, individual attention, outstanding teachers, emphasis on service, and values and leadership opportunities offered by a private, independent school like St. Martin's. A St. Martin's education is an investment in your child's future.

St. Martin's accepts students based on their qualifications without regard to financial status. Decisions regarding financial assistance are made entirely separate from admission. Because an independent school education is a major investment that will likely require planning and sacrifice by parents, St. Martin's offers various ways to meet educational costs. A limited amount of need-based financial assistance is available. Need is evaluated by the St. Marin's Financial Aid Committee using the School and Student Service (SSS) for Financial Aid as a guide. An analysis of confidential statements and tax returns determines the suggested amount that parents can pay toward the child's education. Financial aid is an outright grant used to offset costs of a private school and does not have to be paid back. Families who feel they may qualify are encouraged to apply. Financial aid awards are made annually and are renewable each year based on submission of a current financial aid application. Requests for financial aid should be made to St. Martin's Financial Aid Office.

For questions regarding the financial aid program, please contact our Financial Aid Manager, Mary White  (504) 736-9918 or email Mary.White@stmsaints.com.
