Project Adventure Student Survey
Dear Saint Martin’s School Student,

Perhaps you have heard about the new challenge course in the field house where some Middle and Upper School students have already challenged and supported one another to successfully pass through a ‘spider web’ or climb towards the ceiling while secured by safety equipment and their classmates. In the Lower School classrooms perhaps your have heard how students participate in activities and discussions that build community and a better learning environment. These are just a couple of ways that Project Adventure, an organization that works with schools all over the world, is equipping your teachers with skills that will help you learn better at school and be successful in the future.

To help see if our work is effective you are asked to complete a ‘Preliminary Assessment Survey’. This survey, or questionnaire, was created to collect your observations about the school as well as the behaviors of students, faculty and staff. Your voice is very important!  Along with follow-up surveys and interviews, this survey will help us to measure changes over time and the impact of Project Adventure on the St. Martin’s School.

Your specific responses to this survey will be kept strictly confidential. They will be available only to members of the Project Adventure evaluation team in Massachusetts. Specific responses will not be shared with the Saint Martin’s School faculty or staff.

We ask that you to complete this survey online. Here is the link to the survey:

The survey should take you less than 15 minutes to complete. You do NOT need to complete the survey all at once but can return to the survey using the above link to add or change your responses.

We recognize that your time is valuable and appreciate the time you spend completing this and other assessment instruments for the Project Adventure Program Evaluation. Thank you for your cooperation!

Thank you for your time and please let me know if you have any questions,

Opportunities abound...

“As a student, I was able to dive into a wide range of interests, ranging from sports to student council to speech and debate. Teachers encourage students to explore the many possibilities available, and the relatively small size of the student body affords students many more opportunities to do so.”
Dominic Hood, Class of 2001
