Late Start Wednesdays provide an opportunity for students to choose programs of interest to them.  However, the school day begins at 8:55 and Upper School students are not required to be on campus until then.

The following options are available for students who arrive to school before 8:45.  Both the Dining Hall and the Martin Family Library will be staffed.  From 8:00am to 8:30, breakfast for an additional charge will be available in the Dining Hall.   Beginning at 7:30, students may use the Martin Family Library, volunteer to help with Saints PLUS or set up a conference time with a teacher on a Wednesday when that teacher is not obligated to attend a meeting.  The Mandarin Enrichment Pilot Program, Music PLUS and other clubs may meet from 7:40 to 8:40 on Late Start Wednesdays.  Upper School students will NOT be allowed to be in classrooms without a teacher present before 8:55 on Late Start Wednesdays; students who would like to study may use the library.

Late Start Wednesdays also provide an opportunity to set up dental or medical appointments without missing class time.  Students will be dismissed from their programs at 8:45 and school will begin at 8:55.

To volunteer for Saints PLUS, contact either Mr. Guy Farber (gfarber@stmsaints.com ) or Mr. Nick Hingel (nhingel@stmsaints.com ).

Remember, these are your choices at school:

                             7:30-8:45

  • Library
  • Saints PLUS volunteer
  • Music PLUS participant
  • Breakfast (begins at 8:00)

My Favorite Thing About St. Martin's

"My favorite thing about St. Martin's would have to be the teachers and how nice they are to us. They make learning fun and we are always happy to come into their classrooms."
