Over 100 children attended Saints PLUS and Music PLUS on the first Late Start Wednesday!
Visit the Media Library to view photos from the activities -

Late Start Wednesdays provide an opportunity for students to choose programs of interest to them.  Before school care will continue to be available from 7:15-7:40.  At 7:40 students can choose to remain in the library or go to Saints Plus.  Saints Plus participants will be escorted to the gym. At 8:10 the second group of Saints Plus participants will be taken to the gym.

Students remaining in the library can do homework, study, take AR tests, or work with Math Facts in a Flash.  Students may go with an adult to the Dining Hall for breakfast. Families may set up an outside tutor to work with their child during this time.  Also available will be Music Plus, where 10 students from grades 4-8 will have an opportunity to participate in a music appreciation/band program on a quarterly basis.  Fourth and fifth graders will hear more about this program during the first week of school.  Families can also choose to sleep in or to set up dental or medical appointments during this time.  Students will be dismissed from their programs at 8:45, and school will begin at 9:00.

RE: PROJECT ADVENTURE

St. Martin's Lower School is a place where students grow and blossom. Students build an educational foundation in the core areas of reading, writing, math and social studies. They are also provided the opportunity to explore science, art, music, Spanish and Religion through our resource teachers and innovative enrichment curriculum. Physical education programs instill the values of health and wellbeing and offers our young people an opportunity to discover the world of athletics. Service in the the greater community allows students to channel their values of Faith and Scholarship for the sake of others, therefore growing themselves in wisdom, strength, and courage. Lower School faculty empower students from their earliest of years to recognize their own gifts and create and express their ideas, helping instill a love of learning that they will carry with them through life.
