Spiritual Life Organization

The Spiritual Life Organization invites you to join us in a new school year of service and fellowship!  This group is open to individuals of all faiths who are interested in nurturing and supporting the spiritual life of St. Martin's Episcopal School.  Working with school chaplains and teachers, we participate in community outreach activities in Lower, Middle and Upper School.  Some of our service involves basic logistics, such as delivering Christmas stockings made by Lower School students to Angels' Place or transporting donated toys to Children's Hospital.   We also work alongside our students on a variety of projects, including cooking for soup kitchens, boxing supplies for service personnel in Iraq, or working a game table at Angels' Place spring picnic.

We welcome new members and ideas!  Join us for our first meeting on Tuesday, September 9, from 2:00 - 3:30 in the Merrick Conference Room.  You can also add your name to our e-mail list by contacting us at Spiritual.Life@stmsaints.com

Saints in Service

Saints in Service, a part of Spiritual Life, is a group of volunteers who lend a helping hand to families within our school community who are experiencing a life-changing event-the birth of baby, a hospitalization, or the death of a family member.  Meals, transportation, condolences, hospital visits, home visits, or any number of helpful services are provided.  Contact one of our Division Chairpersons to be placed on the volunteer list:

My Favorite Thing About St. Martin's

"My favorite thing about St. Martin's would have to be the teachers and how nice they are to us. They make learning fun and we are always happy to come into their classrooms."
Tia Schlesinger, 7th grade student
