Opportunities to Get Involved : Mothers' Club Meetings The Mothers' Club will meet on the first Thursday of each month at 8:00 a.m. in the Saints Dining Hall. Join us for coffee and juice while we discuss the event updates and make decisions regarding the Mother's Club contributions to StM. Even if you are not signed up for a committee, please "Get Involved." The meetings are a great opportunity to get to know other mothers in the St. Martin's community. New Mothers' Tea Join us as we welcome all new moms into the StM community. If your child is new to the StM family, you will receive an invitation in the mail to attend a social to get to know other moms. Joining the mix will be representatives of the Mothers' Club. Hospitality The committee works year-round to provide refreshments for various functions on campus such as the "Come As You Are," open houses and graduation. The Committee Chairs need your help to provide food, set up and service. This committee is perfect for someone who wants to contribute but who can only help during certain times of the year. Birthday Book Club This is a great way to honor a child on his or her birthday. Make a donation of $15 or more, and a special book will be purchased to commemorate that child's birthday. A bookplate stating the name of the donor, the child and date of birth will be placed in each book purchased. That child will receive a birthday greeting explaining your gift and an opportunity to sit in the birthday chair on his or her special day. Tennis Tournament This is for any mom who enjoys playing tennis or just wants to have a great time. All levels are welcome at this event. Sign up and bring some friends. Teacher Appreciation Lend a hand in recognizing our wonderful teaching and maintenance staff by providing baked goods and special surprises throughout the year. Volunteers can send goodies one time or as many as you would like depending on your schedule. If you are interested in sending a treat or a sweet, sign up with this committee. Let our teachers know they are appreciated!! This is for Lower, Middle and Upper School. Room Mothers Each class has two parent representatives to help coordinate special events, projects and assist the teacher as requested. Room mothers are selected at the beginning of the school year after class assignments are finalized. Christmas Greens Our greens are a festive way to decorate your home for the holidays and make great holiday gifts for friends and family. To share your holiday cheer, please sign up to help with this event. Volunteers are needed to stuff mailers that are sent out in October. In December, moms are needed to sort out and deliver greens. Family Fest The name says it all. Bring the whole family out to City Park to enjoy games, food and entertainment. The committee needs your help to make sure everyone has a great time, so "Get Involved." Santa Secret Shoppe Let your children experience shopping for the family at a secret shop on campus. This year all grades can participate as well as faculty. If you would like to be an elf this year at Christmastime. Spring Fundraiser This event is the largest fundraiser for the school. Our financial contributions to STM from this event provided needed funds for the improvements to the Chapel, Gym, Locker Rooms and much more. The evening is a wonderful night for the STM community to come together to show their school support. |
