2009 Mothers' Club Spring Fundraiser Dear St. Martin's MS and US Family,
Plans for the Mother's Club Annual Spring Fundraiser are well underway! Each year, many dedicated parents work tirelessly to make the event a success for the betterment of the school community and most importantly, our children. Invitations and more information will follow, but for now, please save the date of Friday, April 3, 2009 for: "Starry, Starry Night, a Tribute to the Arts" An elegant night of entertainment and excitement at Chateau Country Club is in the making. We hope each of you will buy tickets and come enjoy a wonderful evening. One critical component of the fundraiser's success is the auction. Your support is needed in this area; we are letting you know about our plans early so you will have time to support this wonderful event. This year, we respectfully ask each St. Martin's family to consider donating at least one item to help fill the auction boards. Any new items or gift certificates with a minimum value of $25.00 will be eagerly accepted and appreciated. The MS and US are also making a themed grade basket to auction. All families who donate items separate from the grade basket will be recognized in the auction booklet. The donation of a gift or professional service, which has a value of $250.00 or more, will qualify for a business card-sized advertisement in the auction booklet. Feel free to donate an auction item as well as a basket item for your grade. Donations of auction items is separate from our Annual Giving Campaign, every donation is important and brings us closer to success. Your family's contribution makes a difference for the school community and our children. Participation is easy! - Kindly fill out the donor form. (Download from the school website or get form from your grade mom assigned to the baskets) - Please bring completed form and auction donation to the Merrick Conference Room (in theatre lobby) on January 14 or 15th, 2009. - For qualifying gift and professional service donation advertisements, please place three business cards in an envelope and attach to the form. (Feel free to take this letter and form to your favorite store for a donation- most will oblige) The St. Martin's Mothers' Club thanks each of you for your generosity and willingness to support the goal of advancing the school and our children.
